Before your treatment
Prior to your treatment you will need to start preparing your skin.  It is essential that the skin is prepped with pre-peel products recommended by your clinician two weeks before to reduce side effects.  This will help strengthen your skin for treatment, reduce healing time and give you the best possible results.  The use of a high SPF sunscreen is essential to protect your skin from sun exposure.

After your treatment
Post-treatment care will depend on the type of peel used and your skins reaction to the peel.  If the skin is feeling a little tender it may need gentle care and gentle home care products for a couple of days. A mineral powder can be applied straight after treatment. Avoiding direct sun exposure for atleast a few days after your treatment is strongly advised and the use of a high SPF sunscreen. If the skin has some flacking do not pick, scrub or peel the skin away.  This may irritate the skin and interfere with the skins natural healing process. After the flacking has subsided a gentle exfoliation is permitted.  Your clinician will recommend a gentle exfoliant to gently remove the remaining dead skin.
